Anna Maria Tammaro
Full Professor in the Department of Cultural Heritage, Section Librarianship and Rector delegate for e-learning of the University of Parma. She is the local coordinator of the Erasmus Mundus International Master Digital Library Learning (DILL), joint Masters with Oslo University College and Tallin University, and of the International Master in Information Studies, joint Masters with Northumbria University.
Her personal teaching and research interests focus mainly with international aspects of quality of Library and Information Science, E-learning, Digital Library, Electronic publishing.
International activities
Her international activities include:
Chairman of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) Section on Education and Training, and she is Chairman of the IFLA Division Education and Research and Convenor of the Elearning Discussion Group. She is also member of the IFLA Governing Board, where she has the role of maintaining a dialogue between IFLA and the International Publishers Association and she is in the Editorial Board of IFLA Journal.
Member of EUCLID (European Association of LIS Schools) Board. In this role she has coordinated the Workgroup “LIS Curriculum in an European Perspective” and participated to the European Project “European Curriculum Reflections fro LIS education”.
Member of EBLIDA (European Association of LIS Professional Associations) ILEG Group dedicated to Education and Training for professionals.

Current editorial responsibilities
She has published widely in related fields and writes a regular column “Digital Library” in the Italian Journal Biblioteche oggi since 1998. She is in the Editorial Board of Libri, Journal of Academic Librarianship, IFLA Journal, Digitalia.
