All Hallows College invites applicants for the post of Assistant Librarian (part-time). The appointment will be made on the basis of a one-year, fixed-term contract.

Funciones:

This role is to act as Assistant Librarian with a particular focus on: i) cataloguing books in the John Hand Library; and ii) setting up a new Vincentian collection as a discreet library within the John Hand Library.

Estudios:

Diplomado - Biblioteconomía y Documentación

Requisitos:

Applicants must have a postgraduate qualification in Library and Information Studies. A minimum of two years’ experience of cataloguing (including MARC cataloguing) and familiarity with electronic library systems are essential. The successful candidate will also have strong communication and IT skills. Experience of working in an academic library would be an advantage.

All Hallows is a college of Dublin City University. All degrees are validated and accredited by DCU.
